E-Safe Parenting for Non-Technical Parents.
Today’s technology provides many benefits, such as instant communication and access to information. But it also
allows people to exploit unsuspecting victims in a range of ways – cyber bullying, stalking, blackmail,
pornography, kidnapping and rape are just some examples.
Children are much more aware, capable and interested in keeping up with technology than their parents.
Unfortunately this leaves children vulnerable to exploitation as parents and educators are not equipped to advise
children on the responsible and safe use of technology.
This site aims to provide and equip parents and educators with basic yet vital E-Safety advice and information.
We will help you keep up to date with technology; you don't need to be an expert, but even a little knowledge will
go a long way towards keeping your children safe online.
By subscribing to our free e-safety newsletter, we will be providing you with important yet easy to understand
information, tips and advice to ensure you can practise e-safe parenting.
